Staff and the pool! The food made by the hostess is great! Staff is really trying to accommodate kids well! Hygienic ++

Wifi is poor. Public refridgerator could be a solution to the unavailability of a room refrigerator

Beds are very comfortable. Rooms are clean. Tea making facilities are available.

Major issue was the unsafe pool. The main reason for me to book the hotel was the pool. It is hot weather in Polonnaruwa and dip in water at the end of the day is important and relaxing. However, the pool edge tiles are very sharp and one of my kid had a cut. I would not recommend the hotel if your requirement is similar to mine. Unfortunately, this is the second incident as per the owner and still they allow people to get into water and advertise the pool. Unethical in my view.

Fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed visiting with our family. We could not have felt more welcome and the evening meals were, in the children’s words, the ‘best in Sri Lanka’. We agree! Thank you so so much for a lovely two days.

The owners are the most lovely and kindhearted poeple, they are caring and we had an interesting conversation about their lifes and family. Edna cooked outstanding curry for us, don't miss out on the opportunity to have dinner there! The hotel itself is neat and comfortable and it's a more quiet hideaway. The pool was a real blessing after our tour trough the ancient city on an extremely hot day. We also rented bikes at a good price for exploring the neighborhood.
