Apartamento Completo Plaza España

Location was perfect and size of rooms was perfect for families with kids.

Bathroom was not clean and the odor was horrible. Broken parts of bunkbed. No extra bedsheets or towels. Apartment not so clean.

Location was great, really close to Dove Park. The apartment was clean with nice large rooms and a decent sized balcony

Late check in, had to hang around for 4 hours to get into the apartment

Good location for the Old Town. Was easy to collect keys from local premises. Very clean and tidy. We only used for 1 night as it was an extra day to our holiday but would consider this property for staying longer as good facilities.

First of all the good bits. The location was excellent. It was our first visit to Benidorm and we’d heard mixed opinions about the place, but the old town felt very much more Spanish than we expected it to be and we loved it. The apartment is close to a lovely beach with plenty of play equipment for children and it is also close to the main shopping and eating area, without being too busy. There were a few small bar/cafes close by but they didn’t play loud music late into the night, so the noise you did hear was just people chatting and socialising. That was a relief, because in terms of sound insulation it is like living in a tent! The building was noisy and echoey, with people stomping up and down the stairs and slamming doors, etc at all hours. Any vehicle diving past sounded like it was in the room and I kept thinking the windows were wide open. The apartment was also incredibly basic, with only the bare minimum of plates, cutlery, etc. there was a dishwasher, but there were signs on it expressly forbidding guests to use it, so we had to wash dishes in the sink, which didn’t even have a plug. The kettle didn’t even work, so we had to boil water in one of the very few pans there or in the microwave despite contacting the owners, who promised to sort it. The beds were also very uncomfortable and none of us slept well. The whole place felt just incredibly basic and run down, and we didn’t find the owners helpful at all. We would definitely return to Benidorm in the future, but we would be much more careful to pick a better apartment.
