Helen Cave Suites

Excellent hotel in a wonderful location. Even our hotel shuttle driver told us how nice it was on the drive there. Pro tip for a hot shower is to turn the water on and let it run until it's steamy!

Definitely outstanding. I love this hotel. Every experience here it was wonderful. The magnificent view from every part from the hotel and drinking the tea from there! Thank you Kemal and Sam. I enjoy so much my stay there. I hope to be in this place again. We traveled to Turkey and stayed in 6 different hotels and by far this was the worse hotel that we stayed at. Not to mention that we travel at least three times a year and have alot of experience with different hotels. We stayed in this property for two nights. The first night they gave us a very small room (we paid for a king suit) with no heat and dirty sheets! The second night they changed it to their what they called honey moon suit which was alot better room but still no heat! The gentleman (Kamal) was rude and when I asked its cold he said they don't have the part to the heater! At the end I asked for a refund of at least half of the first night and they refused to do that as well. Overall the picture that is put on Expedia's website is not the picture or the room which was suppose to have a king size bed that it shows and I look at this as "false advertisement by the hotel". I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are alot more nicer property with the same or less price tag to spend your time and have heat in your room. I have to add the other staff at the hotel were very nice and Nihat was very polite to us. The breakfast was also very good. I have no idea how this hotel is getting all the good ratings which fouled us and we booked it!!!

Helen Cave Suites was perfect for us and made our trip to Cappadocia even more special. Nihat was so kind and helpful with booking our tours and Balloon flight and giving useful information. Each time we arrived back from being out and about, if felt like the experience of Göreme just continued as the hotel is so pretty. We loved the location a little above the main town, as the view was beautiful and there was plenty of restaurants etc very close. The breakfast is extremely generous. We loved watching the balloons from the terrace. We absolutely loved it!

This was a last minute reservation for me due to travel changes. Turned out to be a great place. It is high up a hill and the upper levels of the hotel have a nice view of the amazing Cappadocia landscape. The breakfast was over the top - I was by myself, but was nonetheless brought an array of rolls, cheeses, vegetables, fruit, eggs, and pastries. The guy running the hotel seemed to be there nearly 24 hours a day. He worked very hard to make my stay the best it could be and was very helpful. I ended up getting the last room available and cannot compare my room to other rooms, but would note that my shower was very small (adequate but not spectacular). This was not a big issue for me though.

Wonderful property! Excellent hospitality and Kemal was very helpful and helped make our stay great! Both Semih and Sami (spelling?) were awesome too! Gorgeous views of the balloons and so close to everything.

My mother and I cannot recommend Helen Cave Suites highly enough! Thank you again to Nihat, Kemal and all the wonderful staff who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. It felt like a home away from home. During our stay Nihat was exceptionally helpful and kindly arranged the hot air balloon ride, tours, a photoshoot for myself with dress hire and transports; and also provided recommendations of places to eat and attractions not to miss. We booked everything via the hotel and really enjoyed every activity. Nihat and all the staff at Helen Cave Suites are very dedicated and hospitable; and their kindness and helfulness is truly appreciated. Our Cave Suite was clean, spacious and comfortable. The hotel as a whole is very pretty, clean and well presented. There is a lovely rooftop terrace with beautiful views morning and night. You can see the hot air balloons in the morning! A Turkish breakfast spread is included with a wonderful selection of food - always looked forward to this each morning. Location is a bonus. The hotel is in the heart of Goreme with easy access to the main street with all the shops and restaurants. Close to some great spas too. My mother and I had an amazing stay at Helen Cave Suites. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to all. This is the best hotel in Goreme! Thank you again Nihat/Kemal and the team for a very memorable stay. We loved our stay at Helen’s. The breakfast is amazing, the rooms are cozy , each with a patio and the views are enchanted. Best place to watch the balloons in the morning too!
