Sonder Le Victoria

Loved how comfortable and spacious the room was. The room had big windows, letting in tons of natural light and offered great views of the surrounding heritage buildings. I really enjoy an apartment-style stay, it makes travelling feel like home! The location was wonderful - so close to everything in Old Montreal, as well as the metro and VIA rail station. Super convenient for getting around! The room itself was very clean and had everything we needed (fridge, kettle, dishwasher). Only room issue we faced was trouble with the washing machine, however, maintenance was quick to come by and resolve the issue! We also stayed on a weekend, so there was some street noise from passersby some evenings, but the room was equipped with earplugs and a white noise machine so it was not an issue at all. It was my first time staying at a Sonder, and it was a lovely experience and beautiful place to stay.

Beautiful suite - everything you need and more! Extra towels, blankets and pillows; fully stocked kitchen; comfortable bed; high ceilings, beautiful, modern, clean appliances; pull-out couch; Roku; staff available 24/7 if required. Only downsides: were no parking; shower should have full door/wall/curtain (difficult to avoid water spraying on floor) and shower water pressure wasn’t very powerful

It was great except for the shower "curtain" — this new trend of only putting glass up on half a shower is obnoxious. Of course the floor outside the bath was covered in water after a shower.

Not clean - blood stains found on multiple bed sheets and pillows, several silverfish insects in the washroom and shower.

Musty smell

Grande chambre, bien équipée, la chambre a bien été préparée et nettoyée, l'hôtel est bien situé.

L'absence de personnel à la réception. La disponibilité des chambres à 16h et pas avant. La consigne à bagages est accessible par digicode, ce qui pose un problème de sécurité puisque d'autres clients de l'hôtel peuvent également y accéder. Les serviettes n'ont pas été changées et les poubelles n'ont pas été vidées pendant les cinq jours de mon séjour (ce qui n'est pas grave en soi, il y avait tout le nécessaire, mais à signaler tout de même).
