USWonderful hostesses. Extra comfy bed, slept in because of it. Place feels like a home. Excellent location, as parking downtown is difficult at best. Can easily walk across the river to downtown to look at the historic homes, shop, and eat. Very safe and secure parking area behind a closed gate at the guesthouse, I appreciate that. Extremely clean. They do have a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker in the room. That was very helpful. Also very close to a grocery store and a pharmacy if something has been forgotten at home. Make note that this is a guesthouse and not a b&b. Therefore bring some breakfast for the refrigerator and microwave or be prepared to go out to eat. No worries, just a reminder. One room is a tub only, again no worries but just a reminder. Really enjoyed the quiet time, particularly the rocking chair on the front porch after visiting historic homes and the Cane River historic plantations all day. Thanks

AUA really nice house in a great location
There was no shower in my room
USThe bed was AMAZING. Plenty of extra pillows and blankets. So cozy. The included bottled water, packaged pastries and cookies, and mini coffee bar were nice as a pre-breakfast snack. The room was enormous. Good sized bathroom with plenty of towels and toiletries and a great shower (hot water and adjustable pressure). The house has beautiful features like large crown dentil molding. The host we met was very nice and only contacted us to make sure we got our key and had the gate code. Nice having a large gated area to park the car.
There were too many fragrances everywhere - just too strong. The bed was very creaky, and the floors by the bathroom creaked, causing the wine glasses in that area to clang together every time you went to the bathroom. The coffee maker didn't work - it seemed to be missing a part.
