The pub is characterful and the staff very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, particularly if you are travelling by train. The room was really nice, with some nice welcoming touches and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was clean and tidy. Despite the pub being clearly very popular and busy, the soundproofing blocks out nearly all noise from the pub below. The breakfast, although not included in the price, was also a brilliant way to start the day! Would definitely stay again.

Very minor things - the shower head needed some attention as it wasn't sealed correctly. There was some noise from people leaving the pub but this didn't go on too late and has to be expected if you are staying in this kind of accommodation.

Clean and comfortable room. Very friendly and helpful staff. On the final night of my stay, they unfortunately had a water pipe burst, which meant that everyone had to leave because they had no running water. The staff arranged and paid for alternative accommodation for everyone. Excellent customer service.

Excellent location (opposite train station), great breakfast available, modern hotel room in a traditional public house.

The only thing I missed was a bath.

Ideal location for the station. Good sized comfortable room. Bottled water and tea/coffee was a nice touch. Full English breakfast was superb and great value. Didn't need to eat again until the evening!

Bit of traffic noise from the road. Maybe ask for a room at the back of the property if you're a light sleeper.

Friendly welcome ,excellent breakfast, will definitely stay there again.

Great location just a few hundred metres from Stourbridge Junction station (ideal for cat lovers who want to meet George the station cat). Plenty of parking available for guests arriving by car. The pub is full of character with a good selection of ales and ciders on tap Hosts are friendly and accommodating The welcome tray in the room is a nice touch with coffee and biscuits

Nothing to complain about

Very comfortable and clean room, attentive and friendly staff and a wonderful (huge!) breakfast in the morning. Overall very good value for money, and we would happily stay again!

Light switch by the entrance into the bedroom was temperamental, although mitigated by a second switch by the bed which controlled the main light. Reported to staff on check out and I'm sure will be resolved in due course.

Room was lovely, comfortable and adequate for my needs. Food, although limited was good. Sandwiches and chips available. Didn’t have breakfast as served too late for my needs. Staff friendly. Would stay again.
