It was clean, a large bedroom. There was a lovely swimming pool with nice clean sun beds and white towels. Outside tables under big umbrellas, it was very hot when we stayed.

Don’t stay on a Wednesday!! Restaurant was closed and Pizza place next door also closed. There is nothing in the village, it was about 16 miles to a town to get something to eat and when you’ve had a long drive in the day the last thing you want is having to drive out for food. There was nobody about when we checked ourselves in.

The studio room was exactly what I wanted which was a little more room than a standard hotel room. As a bonus there was a mini-kitchen including a nice refrigerator. It was very comfortable for me and my dog. The pool, tennis court, and other activity areas looked very nice, but unfortunately, I did not have time to enjoy them. Maybe next time!

I wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy more of the amenities of the hotel.

Great location for what we wanted to do on the trip. Lovely clean hotel and great rooms. Pleasant breakfast with great coffee.

We got an email 2 days before the booking to tell us there was no restaurant. I responded asking if there would therefore be kitchen facilities available for us to use and got no reply. Upon arrival it was confirmed that not only the hotel had no restaurant but the only restaurant in the village was also shut due to a festival. The manager seemed to find it rather amusing that we had arrived expecting to be able to have a meal somewhere nearby. Luckily we had some food in the car for a bit of a picnic. We wondered if it was really beyond the realms of possibility or imagination for the manager to have at least got some bread and cheese in for us, particularly as there seemed to be no problem providing a full breakfast only the next morning. To shrug and tell me "that is France" at the end of a long and tiring day was really unpleasant. In the end we had a great time in the garden drinking our own wine and eating English biscuits. Separately while in the garden, and indeed when we opened the windows of our ground floor room there was a very strong and unpleasant smell of oil coming from the heating system which is at the bottom of the stairs out to the garden area.
