Very modern, comfy, clean and beautiful central to Edinburgh. Staff are excellent and very polite.

No underground parking, and the surrounding parking is expensive, it would be a smart business move to work with some of the surrounding parking garages to get a discount for people staying at the hotel.

Breakfast buffet style was cold....all elements of cooked breakfast from attendance at 9.30 onwards, appeared to be un managed due to undercooked sausages, over cooked eggs due to holding pans. Fruit juice on bar unattended when running empty without staff notice. Some breakfast staff more concerned with talk on discussion of night out?

A good location in Edinburgh that is a short walk from a tram stop and Haymarket Train Station. On arrival at the hotel I was welcomed as an IHG Platinum Member and had my room upgraded to a top floor premium room that had an amazing view of the city. The bar was on the ground floor near reception and was clean and modern with really good drinks and excellent service. The hotel was excellent value - but all hotels in Edinbugh seem to operate with London pricing at a weekend which was something I was not ready for - Voco seemed to be reasonable knowing the offer from the hotel is better than most and one of the better hotels in Edinburgh.

We liked the location, the room was comfortable and clean, and we slept well
