McMillans of Metung Coastal Resort

Its a beautiful location with an easy 10-15min walk into the cafes / Hotel. A 25min drive to Lakes Entrance where we had the most fresh fish & chips, straight off the boats. The only negative was the property emails and txts which seems very cold with all the warnings of how much you will be charged for damagez or breakages. Must be during summer they get party goes in.

We absolutely loved our stay and this gorgeous property , it was peaceful and beautiful maintained - the cabins had everything you need. We loved it so much we are taking the whole family back

Quiet and relaxing location

The location was idyllic, with close access to the beautiful lake and a short stroll along the boardwalk to the shops and cafes. We were surrounded by wildlife and the natives were friendly. It is a bird lovers paradise. The setting of the cottages provided lovely bush surrounds and were well separated for privacy. The cottage had a well-equipped kitchen and laundry, and the deck was perfect for a morning cuppa or late afternoon drink. It was clean, spacious, airy and very welcoming, with a lovely Hamptons vibe to the cottage. Whilst Metung is a small town, it has a store, chemist, bottle shop, pub and cafes so no need to leave for supplies.

There was a minor set-up issue with the TV that was quickly resolved by the helpful on-site manager.
