There was some issues with some broken parts of the furniture. We didn’t like that the door had to be locked by the key as we were a group once we came back whoever was the last one in before others had to stay awake to let them in.

The apartment is within easy walking distance of the front and the tower, the kids loved the cinema room and we made good use of it throughout our stay. The bedrooms are mostly all comfortable and great sized (apart from mentioned below). The communication from Sasco was fantastic, they couldn't resolve all our issues i.e. heating but we're very responsive and did come repair what they could when reported.

This was a last minute change of apartment for us as our other host cancelled when he arrived in Blackpool so we were disappointed to start with but I will try not to let that affect the review. Overall we made the most of our stay and enjoyed ourselves for a weekend, I wouldn't like to stay any longer than that, mainly because the only seating area is the "cinema room" which for a weekend with kids is a great gimmick. But when you want to sit down with a brew and chat or indeed eat it isn't suitable. We ended up eating out all weekend due to not even having any sofas to sit on. There is a small "breakfast bar" but the stools are much too high and the bar is very narrow, there is also very little lighting in here just strip lighting and even during the day the windows are so dirty that it lets in very little light to the main room. The main issue we had was the temperature, the house was very cold when we arrived, the heating system is inadequate for the size of the house (small, low heat electric radiators), the bedroom with one double bed doesn't have a radiator in so it is extremely cold. The heating made very little difference after hours. As 4 of our party had asthma and 2 with medical conditions we ended up purchasing 3 electric fan heaters to warm up the space, the main issue is the hallway, stairs and landing is freezing cold so the minute you open any doors to rooms the heat leaves instantly. There's no heating in the landing or hallway and the front door is poor quality which lets in a draught (also doesn't feel secure, we weren't provided with a key to lock the mortice lock). For the price of the property I would expect better quality, you need to pay a £500 deposit in case of any incidents and are provided with an extensive list of all the scenarios where you could incur a cost, from the list and high deposit I expected to find the property immaculate condition, it was far from that.
