We had an exceptional stay at Villa Serenity overlooking Castleleigh Reservoir to coincide with our wedding anniversary. Anton and the team were incredibly friendly, attentive and a pleasure to be around. They made every aspect of our stay truly memorable. The food, menu and table service were excellent and we even had a cake for my wife’s birthday 🙌 Activity wise we enjoyed some time in a canoe on the Reservoir as well as a bike ride round the perimeter. Just wished we had stayed longer to sample Adam’s Peak! Villa Serenity’s amazing interior layout, decor and furniture is the epitome of high end luxury. Everything from the bedding to the artwork has been carefully curated to create an amazing ambience that exudes luxury.

The “owners” have built and forgotten. Every info provided to us was inaccurate. And it takes ages to get a reply from them. This is not ok. I got trapped with this 9+ rating nonsense but this place is a 7 at best.

The Villa is situated by the Castlereigh Reservoir, providing spectacular views from every room, like a living painting. The Villa's name aptly reflects the serene ambiance of its surroundings. The staff was very kind and helpful, ensuring our needs were met and the dishes were well-prepared, presenting a pleasing array of diverse flavors.

We would appreciate it if a few enhancements could be made. We suggest serving the food warmer, as it often arrived somewhat cold. Additionally, a revision of the pricing for some dishes, like the $25 child’s pasta, is recommended. On a side note, our Air-taxi from CMB mistakenly dropped us at the Ceylon Tea Trails, despite Villa Serenity having its own waterdrome. We had to pay extra for assistance to carry our luggage up a steep sandy hill, a situation that could have been avoided. Nonetheless, we truly enjoyed our stay and once again we would like to thank the staff for taking care of us during our stay in September. We highly recommend this place for those who cherish nature, luxury, and tranquility. Greetings from The Netherlands 🌷

Location for breakfast has exceptional view.

Staff are very helpful and service-minded. However, they should acquire knowledge about interesting places nearby, including tea plantation routes, to be able to recommend to clients.
