This was my 4th or 5th time in Prince George where the Hyatt Place is a most welcome addition. More upscale, though less full-service, than the Coast, it is the closest to the VIA Rail station of all the downtown hotels. I was warm and comfortable on a snowy night. The hotel's dinner service was surprisingly good. Front desk guy was helpfulness defined. Good job Hyatt Place!

Location is great, located close to the Civic Centre if you are attending events there. The hot breakfast is nice. It's nice that the property is fully fenced, so you can feel a bit more secure with your vehicle being parked on their site. And, they don't charge extra for parking.

I love how clean it is . We book this hotel every year for hockey. The my offer rooms with a pull out couch which is what we need. The staff is always so kind friendly and helpful . This stay they went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable and accommodated parking for us.

Parking is always full

From the moment I arrived, Arsh was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Every interaction was handled with a smile and a willingness to go above and beyond to assist. The combination of strong leadership and friendly, efficient front staff made my stay seamless and enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning!

I frequently travel up to Prince George for work, and as a result, I've "shopped around" a fair bit when it comes to hotels in the city. Without a doubt, Hyatt Place is the clear winner for me for the sole reason that it feels like sleeping on a cloud. I get it, soft/plush beds aren't for everyone, but I truly sleep better at this hotel than I do at home. I've even tried to buy their mattress for myself, but alas ... The staff here are super friendly, professional, and polite, and always have a smile on their face when they see me return; that they remember me at all demonstrates how much they actually care about their guests. A free breakfast in this economy also helps a ton, and they've made significant improvements to their food offerings in the morning, which is a huge plus. And for the price, you really can't go wrong. Now to be balanced, the parking lot sure does fill up quickly with massive trucks, so it can be a bit squishy to navigate, especially on a weekend. And unless you sleep with the fan on (like I do) you may hear a lot of doors opening and slamming loudly in the hallway throughout your stay (earplugs do help!) But aside from that, it's hard to find any significant negatives; the bed alone will make you forget all about that stuff anyway, I'm sure!
