Quite but still close to town

No garage for our car

Clean, cosy and comfortable, this lovely Lockwood home was an easy walk to central Tekapo.

Very spacious, attractive interior, quiet location, access to shops/restaurants/bars, parking.

Needs some maintenance: wood corners peeling off building, can't open wardrobe doors (because of new carpet?), stove top a bit grubby (didn't use), very scratched/worn paint on deck doors, black marks next to toaster (rubbed off easily), rickety microwave holder (worried it would slide off- easier just to have it on desk top), could feel lumps and wires of electric blanket in bed (needs another layer over it), rusty chair on deck, duct tape covering hole in sink is very worn and needs replacing, some lights not working.

Cute look. nice shower. good for small family or a small group of friends.

took a long time to warm up on the first night. not enough fire wood so only used fire one night. had heat pump and multiple heaters going.

Great location close to town

Just 2 pieces of wood supplied for the fireplace, and cold house on arrival. Oven didn't work.

beautiful place and great facilities

washing machine was half full of water and drier filter was overflowing with fluff- dangerous and obviously not checked by cleaner.

Nothing

Loved the area and the size of the property, felt very at home within minutes of arrival. Super friendly staff that helped when we needed it.

Only side note, could have used a bit more wood to keep the place warmer, but easy fix the 4 square had wood
