Staff was wonderful and not in your face. The room and facilities were great. Very clean and well organized. The pool and jacuzzi were great. Large and well kept. We had a fun time. Nice place for a get away.

Breakfast was just okay. I thought it would be better at such a nice place. Didn't like that the place to cash in our horse bet wagers closed early and didn't open until 11:00 after we checked out.

"Our to go to place when we come into town. I’m finding though you’re pricing yourselves out of the market."

The rooms were spacious and clean. We had two sets of towels, washcloths and bathmat. The parking lot is lit, clean, well-maintained and we always feel safe. Plenty of parking for all the events and activities going on here. Designated parking spaces need to be set aside for your hotel guests. We ended up in the far lot after we came back from dinner on a Thursday night which was race night.

They need to section off a portion of the parking lot for hotel guests. Serve waffles every day instead of just on weekends.

Running Aces has huge spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms. Good assortment of food for breakfast.

Has express service for food at night, in the casino area, but wouldn't mind a sit down restaurant in the hotel area.

"Highly recommend!"

We've stayed at Running Aces before and will likely do so again. This stay was for 10 days. The price, which included an incredible breakfast, can't be beat. The location is convenient for us, as we used to live in Forest Lake and have friends and family nearby. That said, it's also convenient to I-35, making for an easy drive to both Minneapolis and St. Paul. The rooms are clean and have both a fridge and microwave. We also enjoy the pool and fitness facilities. An added bonus is the convenience of watching the frequent harness races, or even just watching the horses get warmed up while eating breakfast or at other times during the day.
