Very good kitchen facilities to enable us to cook our own meals. Washing and dryer proved very useful. Clear instructions before arriving at the property.

We had a pleasant stay in Kyoto and really appreciated how clean the surrounding areas and bathroom were. The location and overall environment were comfortable and well-kept.

However, we did encounter an issue with the cleanliness of the bed area. There was a T-shirt left behind the cabinet from a previous guest, and we found hair on the bed when we arrived. We’re thankful that the owner was very responsive and came to help clean it for us. However, instead of changing the bedsheets, a lint roller was used to remove the hair and wood dust from the bed. Over the next few days, wood dust kept sticking to the bedsheet, and the fabric had pilling which made it quite itchy and uncomfortable to sleep on.

It was in a terrible part of town. It smelled of mold. Pallets on the floor to sleep were so thin and they smelled dirty. It was definitely an Airbnb The pics on line looked better than it was. Tried to cancel but they wouldn’t give me back my money and actually charged me more than what I contracted for. I would stay far away from that place

Location was good, public areas were clean.

Our room wasn't cleaned when we arrived at 15.30. This is early for check in but how much could really be done in 30 minutes? There was also a bad smell in our room. This lasted our entire stay, it seemed to originate from stagnated water in the toilet area.
