Dale Cottage

Location is just behind Dale End Cafe, which is great for breakfasts & lunch. It's within walking distance of Ironbridge's many shops and cafes (about 10 mins), and similar driving distance to Telford and some of the other museums. There's a Co-op on the corner, which is handy for groceries. The property has plenty of parking. It also has a lovely patio, which got the sun all day. The kitchen and living room were both cool in the hot weather. We loved the bi-folding doors, which meant you could enjoy the afternoon sun whilst staying cool. The three bathrooms and well equipped large kitchen, were a bonus. Bed linen and towels were great. The property is nicely decorated, very clean, and really felt like home.

The red & blue dot under the shower tap over the bath are the wrong way round, but there was always plenty of hot water, once you realised this.

Someone turned up to check a radiator as first of our group arrived - could have done that earlier. It unnerved her to have a stranger walking around the house. Electric alarm clock went off in the middle of the night! No salt in the salt pot.

Lovely, comfortable, clean, well equipped cottage in a private and quiet location just off the main street. Generous welcome pack. Parking. Easy walk into Ironbridge. Dale cafe a minute away, great for breakfast.

It was was warm,, clean, very comfortable, well equipped felt like home from home .

The only thing that happened was the heating coming on in the middle of the night for some reason, waking up sweating at 2-3 in the morning as the radiators were full on.

Lovely space to be together, beautiful bedrooms and brilliant location. Just a few mins from great pubs and a 10 min walk into Ironbridge.

The property was a good size and very spacious for six sharing. We loved the welcome pack, I do like a local ale! and the kitchen goodie bag is an inspired idea. Super comfy and a great place to relax after a day exploring the local area. Great to have the cafe so close for a fantastic breakfast! Showers were really good and powerful.

We didn't know what was expected on our leaving in regards to Landry, cleaning etc. We took it on ourselves, based on staying in similar holiday homes, to strip the beds, clean the kitchen and put the rubbish/recycling out. As we like to leave a place as we found it.
