Cozy Cottage

Location

location can't be beat - the place is old - but "cozy" -- bathrooms and kitchen could probably use an update but they serve their purpose.

No way to find out what is provided - tried to find out through management co but really of no assistance. Told me there was no beach gear - but there was - etc. It stormed and we had rain pouring into the second bedroom and had to fend for ourselves - nothing was done to remedy it except to bring exactly "8" towels to replace the ones we used to block and absorb the rain.

The code to get keys didnt work. And instructions to get keys were not completely there; they left out a symbol in instructions but when we called it still didnt work so had to be reset. Bathrooms need handicap bar & hand held shower handles

Super close to the beach and beautiful view of beach.

We arrived on a Sunday and had paid for 6 nights. I didn't like that the oven didn't work or the toaster. It was raining very hard and super windy for a little while when we got there. The code we were given didn't work and we had to call and they gave us a different code so we could finally get in. There was some water on the floor in the bedroom that has a side door which we let them know about that on that same phone call they told us someone would be coming to spray for ants the next day(Monday). I was there using the stairs to the beach when the whole hand rail came off which caused me to fall and get back injury that had me bed bound for days . I'm still in pain and when I mentioned it to the property manager who showed Monday but was not there for any ants like were told, he was just there to see if there was a leak possibly coming in from the side door because of the water that was on the floor when we first checked in. The property manager never even mentioned any ants and made clear when I told them about the injury I suffered from the beach stair rail . He said they have already made the owner aware before we even checked in that they need to replace the whole beach stair way.Then randomly out of nowhere 3 days later on Thursday around 5:30pm terminix just shows up out of the blue to spray for ants, we had no warning or were not made aware of this at all. Also there was construction going on at the neighbors house which was not mentioned to us at any time as well. This location though you are 15 or 20 min from any normal store/gas/restaurant(Walmart,Chick-fil-A,publix,texas Rd house etc.)If that's your thing cool . It will also cost you $3 dollars in tolls even though Google maps show .50¢ tolls(that's only if you open up a special palm coast account.) I came to see a sick friend that happened to pass the day after I arrived.

Enhancements were very nice. View is spectacular. Great fishing.

The oven didn’t work, we had no access to the washing machine, the house next door was under construction with workers.

The location & view was amazing. Quiet beach & so peaceful.

We loved the sound of the ocean and the sunrises at our back porch. It was a quiet beach for us to enjoy also
