USRoom and linens were clean.
The non-smoking room smelled of cigarettes or some sort of mold. We were given another room, which smelled the same.
USWe have friends who stay at the Historic Plaza hotel for $150 a night. While I'm sure it's very nice, I don't want to spend that much money for a comfortable bed and a quick overnight. This place ticks all the boxes, it's one of those older, slightly funky places that doesn't have a high-ceiling lobby with chandeliers and mirrors. What it does have is a great value for a comfortable, clean place to stay. Our room was quite spacious with a large TV, a couch, a larger-than-average refrigerator, and excellent black-out blinds. The bed was quite comfortable and the pillows were better than the $150 hotel we had in Denver. I would totally stay here again. And I'll take the $80 I saved and treat myself to a nice dinner. :-)
