It was central for our event

Lower ground apartment right night to the main attractions. Yet very quiet. Shops including supermarkets all within walking distance. Kids loved the leisure centre. Had an en-suite in master room &was perfect for person with disability the main bathroom had bath tub.

The mattress in the smaller room you could feel the springs through it so it needed replaced. The dinning room table we couldn't lean on or put anything on as it was that unsteady it was ready to give way. So that needed replaced also.

Freedom to come and go when wanted and being with family

Issue with electrics reported and someone came next day when we were out but then bulbs missing from kitchen. Light on cooker hood does not stay on. No drawers in bedrooms for clothes and shelf at top of wardrobe dirty, so had to live out suitcases. Ensuite bathroom floor not very clean. No shelf in main bathroom for toiletries, no toilet roll holder or towel rail.

Having grown up in Ayrshire I am familiar with the location and in relation to the beach transport links and town centre, the property was brilliant value for money. However, the property itself was in a poorer than expected quality for the price of it. Prior to our arrival I was contacted to ask how I would like the flat made up, with there being 6 adults staying for the weekend I asked that the sofa bed would be made up and that the beds would be split into singles to accommodate this. However, when we arrived this had not been done. Additionally the fridge freezer for the apartment was turned off when we arrived with a bunch of towels on the ground appearing to be soaking water as the unit defrosted. Beyond this the unit did not work all weekend which did not allow us to buy supplies in and rely on eating out. Moreover the condition of the walls, bathroom sealant and grouting could benefit from a renovation to modernise the property and spruce it up.

Modern apartment clean and comfortable.

It was easy access, instructions to collect the keys were straightforward. It was comfortable and ideal.

Nothing much, except we tried to retrieve a ball that rolled under the sofa. Maybe an occasional sweep under the sofas and beds would be great.

The area was very quiet and within a short walking distance to the centre of town.

Just a few house keeping issues which were very minor
