"Superb"

Very nice location with a great view to the lake from the porch. The lake is great for swimming and rowing the boats, which you can borrow for free any time. It feels very secluded, yet it is still just a short drive away from a small town with two supermarkets.

"Great place to recharge in the nature"

Nice private sauna. Free small boat to visit the lake.

It was perfect for our group, we loved the sauna and lake and swam every morning. Such a beautiful location. We borrowed bikes to go to Sulkava one evening. A couple also rowed the little boats to Sulkava. We were able to cook for 16 from one cabin. Alla has been so helpful before we arrived with advice as it was our first time in Finland so we had lots of questions! We couldn’t have chosen a better place :)

The stairs were very steep for the upstairs room, plus some curtains or blinds might be nice upstairs as it never got dark :)

"Perfect hideaway at the lake, bit rusty;)"

Perfectly located on the lake, with free to use boats and sauna in every house. We had a great time.

Unfortunately we had a lot of ants in your kitchen and the dish washer was not working, but I am sure they would have send help, if we would have ask (we only had one day left and decided to do the dishes by hand anyways). As there is the option to cook, we would have liked some basics like salt and pepper...

"Beautiful holiday village in the most beautiful part of Finland."

Super cute cottages, beautiful lake view, free boats and bikes, beautiful road to drive to location.

Beds could be more comfy and a few more bowls, big cups etc. would be practical. Also it‘s not that close to Savonlinna as we hoped, it‘s almost 40min drive.

"The perfect Finnish-style summer stay"

This is our second summer at Kukkapää because we like it so much. The cottage is lovely and has all the things you need and great to have 2 room separation. It’s so relaxing you can just watch the sunset from your patio, go for a lake swim or have a nice bbq. Bikes and boats also included in the rent and some additional services are available at an extra cost (super affordable!) like laundry, which always comes in handy to have your clothes nice and clean before returning home
