Buffalo Ridge Resort and Spa

It's a small little place in a very small town. The fact they have a 19 room motel is incredible. It is a renovated school house. They did an awesome job.

The only thing I would improve on is a better distinction of the main entrance to the office of the hotel/motel. I didn't notice the small "Open" sign window until after I found it.

Restaurant was in between cooks, so a very limited basket menu just , plus could hear conversations in the next room

We held a product training meeting here. The event room was perfect! They were so accommodating. The history and design of the space fell in line with our interiors backgrounds. That made it even more of a perfect venue. Patricia and Charlie cheffed up a delightful dinner for us in the Rock Room. I will forever be hoping to find a local pizza that matches up. I appreciate that they strive to use local ingredients. Although this was a business event, I felt it was more of a bed and breakfast experience. A++++ Thank you Patricia and Charlie!

The guy that checked us in just tossed us the room card an took off. Didn't know about any amenities or anything.

Property itself was cute with the “antique” vibe, but that’s about it. They had no breakfast as they claimed, no coffee, no water….no local businesses for even convenience. Rooms looked like a haunted asylum, windows were filthy, and the bathroom was ehhh. No one at front desk, no one to ask if everything was good. This would be more akin to a shoddy air bnb as opposed to a hotel or even lodge. Overall the stay was mediocre at best. I wouldn’t recommend this place nor would I stay here again. BOOO

The room was very comfortable and had plenty of room for both of us. The bed was comfortable as well. The staff very helpful. The only thing we would have like was a desk chair. The pictures of the prior school were very interesting.
