Patagonia House

Very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely a laid-back, backpacker vibes place. SUPER comfortable bed—probably the best two nights I've slept this trip.

Room was a little tight on space with two other people in it, but it worked.

Nice host and volunteers

The common area is spacious with big tables. Wifi works well. Position not bad for visiting Punta Arenas. Employees and volunteers are nice.

Description (ex. executive lounge access with...) doesn't match reality. We didn't even get the room booked. Hostel very old and not maintained (mushroom growing behind the toilet in the private bathroom, windows not closing, hole under the shower structure). Kitchen utensils should be replaced with new ones. Cleanliness needs defintely improvement. Payment unclear (VAT or not for foreigners, commission). Access from a back door only, property looks abandoned/messy when you enter.

- The cleanliness was a major issue, especially in the kitchen, which I found disgusting. - There was only one toilet and one shower, which was a bit inconvenient for everyone.
