"Location was perfect and our view of the River Deben wonderful as we had spent much time there as"

Food was good. An earlier serving time than 9:00 am would have been helpful.

Bed mattresses were too firm and led to 2 uncomfortable nights. En suite was ok but the position of the toilet was very awkward and the tiny sink and shelf area were restrictive.

The staff are superb, and made us feel extremely welcome and well looked after. The location is excellent too. Perfect for a lovely short stay and super convenient if you travel by train(as we did).

"Excellent - fitted my needs."

Breakfast was very tasty, a (limited) menu based on a good Full English Breakfast. Room was warm, comfortable, with a great view. The host was super cheerful, helpful, friendly, attentive.

Because you have breakfast in the cafe it is very busy and cheerful, and noisy right from opening time - it's a very popular cafe - not a place for a quiet waking-up breakfast!

A cosy room, convenient for the town. A very generous breakfast with a selection of options. Although at the station we hardly noticed the trains. Good view of the river
