The pub was nice, friendly staff. Bed was comfortable. Car park was big.

The room had an unpleasant smell to it, couldn’t open the window so no fresh air, the fan didn’t help. The bathroom needs updating. We had a message to say as owners were on holiday we would be having a continental breakfast, which is usually cereals, yogurt hams cheese toast etc so we didn’t mind we thought we would be having it in the pub, instead it was delivered to the room we were so disappointed, a cold croissant each, apple, small box of cereal each one was what a child would have and orange juice. We were really looking forward to our visit to the George & Dragon because at the time of booking it seemed really good value for money as breakfast was included and no extra charge for the dogs, we had heard the breakfast was very good, but as I said if it had been a proper continental breakfast that would have been ok.
