Always love coming to basswood for a vacation getaway

We stayed during the week and it was quiet.

Cabin was a little run down. Big facility that is within nature, so understandable to an extent.

I liked that it gave us the cabin feel.

The pictures posted on booking.com were misleading so immediately we didn’t get the cabin we were looking for. Also, the WiFi was awful there and we were without service for most our stay.

The parking/drive up to our cabin was not favorable.

Everything was dirty door knobs broken, mattresses with hair, bathroom with chewy gum, it was a mess

Lots of activities for the kids and the staff was amazing! I was surprised even lots of activities during the week too! Lots of fish in the ponds and facilities had everything we needed. Such a large selection in the store as well and not overly priced either. We also enjoyed the golf cart rental as it made getting around in the heat more barable. Can’t say enough nice things about basswood.

Our cabin needed a new mattress. It was very old and I woke up with a backache. A few maintenance items needed in our cabin

We absolutely love how affordable and family friendly Basswood Resort is. They have fun activities everyday for all ages, among there many fishing ponds, swimming pool, playgrounds, dog park, nature trails and so on. We will be making yearly trips here😀
