Basswood Resort

I didnt stay. The room with the "jacuzzi" was out of service & no rooms left that I wanted. They will refund me, although, I have to contact you all to do that

The heater was not working properly and the cabin got FREEZING cold overnight- nobody slept well, and the internal temperature was set at 75 but continued to drop all night until it got to 51. Definitely not designed for the winder as the air units were bear the ceiling so the ground and near the ground was an icebox. We left as soon as possible in the morning.

Complimentary coffee when store opened at 10am. Little store carried A LOT of essentials and so many cool extras for all ages, even alcohol. Large grounds with MANY types of lodging to fit anyone's needs. Close to town and highway. Very friendly staff. Grounds kept nice, but we visited in winter though so not much to do activity wise outdoors. Room was large and had a private spa tub in it. Bathroom was very clean. Bed was comfy.

Ad for room states a king bed and a twin bed, get to room and the twin bed is a pull out sofa. Sofa was uncomfortable. Sheets were stained. Room smelled musty when we arrived, Aired out easily though. Some items in room were damaged/missing. Heater was turned all the way down and room was hot as sauna. We turned it off entirely to be able to sleep in comfort.

Great customer service. Great stay. Great place.

This place is a quiet peaceful little gem! 30 minutes from arrowhead stadium. GO BILLS!!

Cabin was nice. Clean. Equipped. Service was friendly. I was called to be informed to bring my own bedding. Did have issues with the pipes freezing but maintenance corrected the issues fast. Great walking areas. My pup loved the open space.
