The grounds are spectacular and everything is immaculate and clean. This is not as much a hotel experience as a retreat. The rooms are a bit spartan and there are no TVs. It’s designed to relax and reflect. There is very good WiFi so you can access everything you like. We stayed in cedar lodge and my only complaint is the ‘musty’ smell in the entire building. Other than that, this place is romantic and relaxing.

Our hosts Trace and Christine we’re wonderful! The Castle experience was awesome. Very convenient place to stay if you’re going to Gardens of the Gods and Pikes Peak.

"Breathtakingly Beautiful property with Castle!"

This place is incredible! We didn’t stay in the castle but we did have a great breakfast there. Grounds and hiking trails are just beautiful and you’re right next to Garden of the Gods so the rock formations are right there! Very reasonable rates and everything was just perfect. We will be back!!!

"Predatory, prejudiced, and petty"

No ADA restrooms in the Castle. Also, I had to dispute the transaction because they kept calling and texting my family over $17 they claimed they were owed without any evidence & after already receiving payment. DO NOT RISK THE (MIS)ADVENTURE. Also, the “Castle” is an overgrown townhome that’s been made to look like an historic landmark. There’s nothing special at all about it, and the grounds are just that…artificially landscaped to be a tourist trap. There’s nothing special about it that you can’t see better at any state park. The food was not great. And the entire time we were there, the tea was only ever “refreshed” with hot water so by the time we left, it was barely even tea. And they claimed that cost over $97 for two. It was a bizarre experience that I’m so thankful my family and I never have to repeat.
