I requested a delux room but told that when going thru a third party you will be put in the west wing regardless. This is because they loose money. There is a smell in the room and the bathroom was literally dirty. The breakfast you pay for is not worth the money. You get the same thing at holiday inn for free. Didn’t service my room had to request three times finally at 5:50pm our room was services. Another quest in the lodge also said there was a smell to their room. It is a beautiful property. But for what I paid for our room it was not worth it and not worth the price for the breakfast.

Very welcoming with so much to explore. Minutes from Garden of the Gods, this secluded property is makes for a wonderful stay. The breakfast out in the patio at the castle was a great way to start the day.

Always love staying here. It’s clean, staff is wonderful, breakfast is always delicious. Plenty of short hikes and walks around the property.

"Beautiful grounds and spectacular red rocks"

A friend recommended Glen Eyrie. It's located next door to Garden of the Gods. The grounds are just beautiful, well-maintained and landscaped, surrounded by the tall red rocks like GofG. We had a room in the Big Horn building. Very good value, less than many of the chain hotels in Co Springs. The room was a typical hotel room, very comfortable. My friend was in the Castle which was furnished with antiques, and very charming, (long hallways!) but she had no view, and we had a spectacular view of the red rocks. The property has lots of hiking trails (it's on over 700 acres). Breakfast was included and was good.

It’s a great property to stay but it’s a retreat so no tvs in room so be aware of that
