"Wonderful Stay!"

A wonderful stay in the Oaks Lodge! The property is gorgeous and so peaceful. Loved the Castle tour,l amazing breakfast on the Castle patio, hikes right on the property, seeing deer, wild turkeys and even a big horn sheep! The room's comfortable beds and sitting chair were perfect and without a TV allowed extra evening walks, conversation and reading. All the staff and volunteers we met were kind and helpful. Definitely want to return in the future.

This is a very different kind of property- multiple lodgings at varying price & decor/amenity levels. This room was in a basement with a small window looking out at a beautiful sandstone formation - NOT happy I didn’t have the advertised “Mountain View” from a basement but sure, there was scenery. Lots of noise from adjacent rooms! Very comfy bed & nice bathroom. It’s an expansive property - The Uber driver couldn’t find this particular lodge

The grounds and views are beautiful. It is peaceful and quiet. We will definitely stay there again in the future. We also loved the coffee shop.

I got totally mislead by Expedia. Thought I was getting a room in a castle with a view, of the Garden of the Gods… well, I’m in the basement of a religious convention center, and I have a view of a metal culvert underneath the parking lot. Classic bait and switch, I’ll be reporting it to the attorney general once I get home.

Absolutely stunning grounds to walk, hike, relax or meditate. You are almost right in the Garden of the Gods! Staff is so welcoming and informative. Rooms in lodges are dorm style basic, clean and comfortable. Castle rooms are well appointed and you will feel you’ve travelled back in time. The icing on the cake is the delicious breakfast served that is part of your stay!
