My Place Hotel-Shakopee, MN

Had a great stay here. Easy check-in, friendly staff, clean and spacious room and affordable. Nothing to complain about. Would stay here again if back in the area

Very friendly front desk staff who helped me in a pinch with getting me a cloth right away when I hit my head on car trunk and was bleeding a bit. Offered awesome nearby restaurant recommendation (Mr. Pig's). There was a few small hiccups. First room we got out in was accidentally missed by cleaning but apologized and immediately got us into another room. Little oops. They happen. Sink and tub slower to drain which sucked a bit with 4 of us showering but room was clean otherwise and the beds were very comfortable! No noise issues. Easy check in and out. I'd stay again for sure.

Clean, quiet and friendly staff! But room wasn’t cleaned daily not sure why but only stayed 2 nights.

Couldn't check in. There was no one at all working at the hotel. Waited an hour, went to eat and still no body. Called 4 hours later and still no employee at the hotel. There are no phone numbers to contact any real person. Every means of calling, no mater what number you use rings the front desk which is unattended. Have no idea when someone showed up.

There was no one working the front desk when we arrived at 4:30. Other guests stated they had been here an hour already waiting to get checked in but no staff were on site. We wanted to get cleaned up from being at the Renaissance festival all day before heading to Cantabury for an event but just had to head over since we could not get into our room. They did have someone covering the desknwhen we got back again at 8:30. She was getting help over the phone as she didnt have access to the computer. I don't know who decided to not go to work today but thought they'd have a backup during check in time.

Only probably the electricity was off about 1 1/2 hours during night and i need a CPAP

Nothing was as advertised. No pool, tv didn’t work, didn’t get to check till after 5pm because the room wasn’t ready, no continental breakfast, you could order breakfast but you have to pay for it?!? Seriously? Bed was about as hard as the floor. And what’s even more annoying is this place was recommended by Expedia under the filters i chose!

This hotel is noisy ( people stomping above) and there is a moldy smell that was attempted to be covered up by carpet cleaner.
