La Casa di Rosa in Varenna

Close to train station and close to the ferry and restaurants

We purposely booked an apartment as we like to do our washing as we go. But the washing machine was out of order They said there was no technician available as it was their holiday period

lovely location with an easy walk to the lake, ferry and restaurants. the rooms were spacious and there was plenty of room in the kitchen and main bedroom. overall it was very good.

the shower cubicle was a little narrow but managed ok.

The facility and the location. Perfectly clean and the beds are comfortable. 2 1/2 up to date bathrooms are wonderful for our family of 5. The location is very centered on the lake path. Tons of restaurants, local shops and gelato shops around. Kitchen is well equipped - we had enjoyed cooking in the kitchen for a meal or two. The apartment has two bedrooms on the opposite sides and the kitchen in the center. A great layout to have privacy and family gathering in the middle. The management company is very helpful for us to get the keys and local information. I will definitely recommend this property and would plan to stay here again!

The property was excellent. It looked just like the pictures. It was in a great location. The people at Varenna Holidays were outstanding, from the person who greeted us and provided with all the information we needed, to the person who answered our questions and then arranged a taxi for us. I would book again with Varenna Holidays without hesitation. They were excellent!!

Very close to the lake and the main streets, it was very clean and had good space, great beds and bathrooms and felt secure and safe

No aircon and only 1 fan in each room - wasnt enough when there are 3 people on each room as the fan didnt reach everyone in the heat so was a struggle in the heat. Also we were provided with 6 toilet rolls for 6 people for 5 nights - as expected we soon ran out but one staff member was very rude when we asked for more and ended up shouting at us. Not sure why a simple request for more tissue was so difficult

Amazing location and good value for money. Lots of toilets and kitchen well equipped. Check in and out was very easy, with a staffed office with friendly staff.

Second bathroom is behind a hinged door from the kitchen which takes up a lot of space when opened and clashes with the table and chairs. Sixth bed is a sofa bed and there is no lounge space - only communal place is the kitchen.

Big, beautiful apartment, right in the heart of Varenna. Lots of room!

The rooms didn't get too hot, but we still would have preferred A/C.

It was absolutely perfect in every way , size ,location and amenities.

The location couldn’t have been better. I loved opening the windows and having the breeze blow in, listening to the activities outside and viewing the water. Lots of steps and plenty of exercise. The town is amazing. A nearby grocery was convenient, and near the train station. The grocer helped with local wines and food suggestions. If you like pistachios, you must try the pistachio crema, which is like Peanut butter but way better!

Coming from the US there weren’t many options for early arrival time. The team did work with us as best they could to get us into the apartment when possible, which was before the check in time- and that was much appreciated. We were very tired!
