Orient Beach Hotel

Beautiful & spacious room with everything you need. Great terrace space with beach/ocean views. The nicest & most helpful staff: Florence, Kim, & Junior. Thank you for all your help. Wonderful location on the French side, quiet & safe. You will need a car to get around .

Nicely decorated room and rather spacious. We Had a beautiful view of the ocean from our patio. Had a small kitchenette. Situated right on the beach and a very short walk to restaurants, small grocery store, shops etc. We plan to return next year.

The room was large and beautifully decorated. The quality of the construction and amenities was exceptional. Beautiful stainless steel railings everywhere that always looked like they had just been polished. The grounds were well maintained and the view from the room was gorgeous! I wouldn't stay anywere else on Orient Beach.

Charming boutique hotel right on the beach. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Very clean. Staff was lovely and helpful. Short walk into Orient village, which has a variety of restaurants; both fancy and casual as well as two small gourmet stores if you want to stock your room as well as the usual breakfast café and boutique shops. You can’t beat the location for breakfast at Kakao (right on the beach). The staff is charming. The continental breakfast included plain yogurt, fruit (more of a variety would have been appreciated during our weeklong stay ; they only offered cut pineapple and watermelon) though they did have apples, oranges, and bananas. They had a variety of baguettes as well as jams and butter and ham and cheese. They also offered mini croissants and mini chocolate croissants. There was one kind of tropical juice offered (the same every day), as well as cereals. We thought the coffee was good and loved the hot milk (cold milk was available for cereal). For those wanting a more hearty breakfast, you could order for an additional price on the menu. We really appreciated the complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas offered (the beach staff is friendly and accommodating). As a guest of the Orient Beach hotel the complimentary beach chairs are the third or fourth row as they save the first two for “ paying day guests” ). We loved walking the beach every day. We also ate lunch at Kakao‘s a number of times which we found delicious. We enjoyed our stay at Orient Beach hotel & hope to return for a week next year. I’m giving this hotel five stars because I think it’s a great price point for a hotel on the beach. It is not a five star hotel (like La Samanna ) ; no fluffy big towels, no complimentary mini bar , no common spaces to hang out (pool is not a charming space ) but this hotel is a good value. At the current time, there is no laundry service, which would be an improvement.

Outstanding boutique hotel on Orient Bay. Wonderful reception and help during the stay. The room is tastefully decorated and looks new. Some rooms have better views than others. Know that the hotel is set back from ocean, but you can see it and is just a short stroll down the path away! The location of the hotel is perfect as the group of restaurants are a 5-10 minutes walk away. Beach chairs are included with your stay, as well as many potential places to sit. We found that the best location to sit was right in front of Orient Beach Hotel. The lunch selection and bar choices were also great. When we come back, we will definitely stay here.

Amazing beach and nice rooms!

This hotel was in the best position on Orient beach. Great hotel. Very clean and modern. We were only there for two nights before heading to St. Bart's, but I would stay again when passing through St. Martin. Orient bay beach was a little beat up - lots of tractor work going on as some rough seas had brought some seaweed and they were cleaning up but also trying to flatten out the big ridges on the beach. Colour of water is beautiful - I'm sure beach will resume to it's lovely self in no time. Le Gallant beach a bit of a walk away was really, really lovely. Sea turtles popping out all over and nobody there. No other hotel to stay on Orient Beach in my opinion - this one was just perfect!

Steps from the best beach, restaurants, shops and the friendliest staff! Our 3rd time there..and already made reservations to return in June. Walkable to everything...no need for a car...and Florence..Kim..and Julien make your stay easy. Can't wait to return!

Great stay at the beach! This hotel had very updated comfortable rooms with a small kitchenette. We took advantage of the free beach chairs at several places. Only one, coco beach, would not honor it and was quite rude about it. Hotel is beachfront and easy walking distance to village restaurants. Breakfast is included, but as many have noted I is very minimal and exactly he same every day. The hotel could do a lot better in this area. Overall, very good stay.

Good location. Closest affordable property is Rendezvous Bay. Sunshine Shack a must! Bed very good Room clean, staff friendly. Food options could be improved No night life walkable . Property needs some updating and maintenance. But clean. I will stay here again.
