"My family and I enjoyed our stay at Element!"

9.0

Clean facility, friendly staff, and a great pool area to lounge after a long day of hiking.

I thought the pool was heated but it was a bit chilly. Great for sore legs, though.

"Loved the staff, vibe, affordable"

8.0

Loved breakfast option and restaurant

need repairs to outside umbrellas, furniture. Too many kids in hot tub-should be for adults only. Perhaps splitting kid-adult section options.

"It’s always a lovely option when we’re in Moab!"

10.0

The pool and the ice cold jugs of cucumber water and lemonade were lovely! Our bed was also top notch!

Some of the hired hands didn’t seem to be doing anything, just hanging out/wandering around???

"Very good would recommend"

New clean great breakfast large rooms

We were on the first floor and the room shade needed to be darker as the parking lot light comes through. Non Tesla chargers. But superchargers very close.

"Convenient Base for Arches, Biking, and Canyonlands — Clean, Modern, and Well-Run"

10.0

We stayed here for two nights while exploring Arches, Canyonlands (Shafer Trail), and mountain biking north of Moab, and the location was ideal for everything we were doing. Being just north of town made it especially convenient—quick access to Arches and the Klondike Bluffs area without having to deal with downtown traffic. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are modern, clean, and functional, but not extravagant—nothing fancy. We’ve stayed in more upscale properties, but this was exactly what we needed for an active trip. The lack of carpet actually worked well for us since we brought our mountain bikes into the room. We also appreciated the small kitchenette, which made it easy to manage snacks and drinks. The pool was a nice bonus after long days outside, and breakfast was solid and convenient for getting an early start. Overall, this is a great choice if you’re in Moab for outdoor activities. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it’s clean, well-run, and very well located for accessing the parks and trails.

"mixed review"

6.0

Located in convenient area on the edge of Moab, close to Arches. Nice hotel with an enjoyable daily breakfast. Not a fan of the “ dogs-welcome” policy, as much as I love dogs. The inconsiderate people next door left their dog in the room when they went sightseeing, apparently. Dog barked non-stop for over 5 hrs on at least two straight days. Another guy’s Mastiff made it clear I need not get any closer to his master as I entered the main entrance. Send the dog owners to Air B n B’s. Sink was clogged on arrival and the mattress needed replacing. The hallway ice machine was broken all 4 days. Hotel does have a lot going for it though, and it’s probably one of the best i. the area

"Element Moab"

8.0

Breakfast: I found the coffee to be weak, which was a bit disappointing. They do offer a cheese omelette if you'd like, but after my first breakfast, I decided to self-cater as it wasn’t quite to my taste/quality preference. On the plus side, the bananas and oranges were a nice touch. The shower curtain was far too short, and the water pressure wasn’t great either. However, the room was clean and quiet, which I appreciated. The water at the kitchen sink is filtered, which is a nice bonus. The bed was comfortable, but the duvet was a bit too warm for me. I ended up needing to turn the AC lower to compensate. Overall, for the price I paid during low season I’d rate it a solid 4.5—though the coffee could definitely use improvement.

"Marriott Bonvoy Elite Benefits Not Honored – Very Disappointing Experience"

2.0

As a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum/Titanium-level member, I want to share this experience so other elite members can make an informed decision before staying here. I dealt directly with the Hotel Manager Samuel. During my stay at the Element by Marriott Moab, I requested the standard 4:00 PM late checkout, which is a guaranteed benefit for Platinum Elite and above per Marriott Bonvoy Program Rules. This benefit is not based on availability and can be requested at any time during the stay — not only at check-in. Despite clearly referencing the published program rules and even contacting the Marriott Bonvoy Program Office for confirmation, hotel management refused to honor the benefit and insisted I vacate the room by 1:00 PM. I spent over an hour escalating and providing documentation, yet the property would not align with Marriott policy. What made this particularly frustrating was the lack of service recovery or ownership. I was asked to leave before management was even willing to review my written feedback, leaving me no meaningful path to resolution. The end result was being forced to leave early and relocate to another hotel in order to finish work commitments that afternoon. This experience was not reflective of Marriott standards nor what elite members reasonably expect from the brand. If late checkout is important to you — especially as an elite benefit — be aware that this property may not honor it, even when policy is clearly cited. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this situation was unnecessary, avoidable, and poorly handled. I hope Marriott corporate addresses this with the ownership group to prevent similar experiences for other loyal members.
