Rock House Cottage

Beautiful accommodation with lots of room in a lovely quiet and picturesque setting. Lots of room. The host were very good and accommodating about us requesting to check in early which was much appreciated.

It wasn't clear when booking that the host lives in the same house but it not a problem in the end

The cottage is so well stocked with everything you need for cooking etc.

The property was in an amazing setting. It was cosy, v comfortable, well equipped and warm (in cold February) Enclosed garden for the dog. A short but hilly walk to a great pub. The owners were v responsive to any queries prior to the visit and available, but not required during our stay.

Rock House cottage is a beautiful and peaceful place. We had great walks through the surrounding woods and countryside from the door. The beds were comfortable and the place was warm and cosy. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of fridge and freezer space. We took two dogs; it was easy to dry them after walks in the porch, and the garden was perfect for them. Parking is right outside. A welcome pack of bread, butter etc was very much appreciated - thank you!

A warm and relaxing cottage which has everything one needs. This has been our second stay at Rock House Cottage and we hope to return again.

The cottage was beautifully furnished and excellently equipped. The beds were comfortable and everywhere was very clean. We had milk and bread/butter provided on our arrival and a lovely bottle of wine which was very well received. The surrounding countryside is very pretty with views of the moors in the distance and woods and streams all around. There are several walks straight from the cottage - perfect with or without a dog, ours felt very at home.
