Rooms were clean, restaurant & bar area for breakfast & dinner were excellent. Staff were friendly

The lack of proper pillows & a kettle in the room but no coffee or tea items

Leider ist der Weg vom Bahnhof zum Hotel nicht sehr gut ausgeschildert und auch ziemlich "versteckt".

Locatie, hygiëne, bedden

Airco werkte niet en te warm in de kamer zonder frisse lucht. Daardoor slecht geslapen.

The facilities were generally fine.

I had a very unpleasant experience with the elevator door. The door closes very quickly after opening, basic giving only time for one person to enter or leave before rapidly closing. I noticed this the evening of arrival. The afternoon after dinner, upon returning to our room, the door closed against me as I attempted to enter after another couple. The door hit me on my left face, I was slightly blooded and bruised. The manager , 'managed' very politely and efficiently. I refused hospitalisation and was told that an attending doctor was not possible. As a retired health professional I made a self assessment that head damage was unlikely serious and was about to leave on holiday the next morning. I insisted on an incident report and my gripe is now about that report : this because the report makes light of the incident by saying that it was solitary and not previously a problem. I doubt this strongly, the door closure was too fast on every use. I told the manager this, that it was dangerous. I have never complained about any such an issue before, and feel insulted. I will review my legal situation as regards damage to my holiday upon return to Germany. I
