Harrogate House Inn

Location was very convenient and the breakfast was excellent. The owners were very engaging and super nice.

Breakfasts were delicious. Bed was very comfy. Liked the private entrance to our room.

We loved everything. The best part of the entire stay was the hosts Kent and Elisabeth. They were the most gracious hosts you could meet. They were friendly and attentive. They really made sure that we were having a good experience. The breakfast each morning was outstanding. The first morning, breakfast started with coffee and a freshly baked croissant. It was served with jams from a local vendor. We then were served eggs benedict. It was so good. I had it made with Canadian bacon, and my wife had it with mushrooms. Both were the best we have ever had. The next morning, we started with the croissant again. It was a no-brainer. You will understand after you have your first one. After the croissant came, pancakes served with local syrup and a side of bacon. As an aside, you are given. choices each morning as to what you would like to eat. Both Kent and Elisabeth spent a lot of time talking to us while we ate and throughout our stay. It may sound corny, but we felt like we were talking to old friends. Kent filled us in on the history of the Inn and the town of Niagara on the Lake. As for our room, it was really nice. It was clean and inviting. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and spacious. It was really cold being the middle of January, but the room was nice and warm, and if you needed it, an extra blanket was there that by itself would have kept any chill away. I can't rave enough about our stay here. We will definitely be booking it again for next year. There was an ice wine festival going on during our stay, which we didn't even know was happening when we booked. That made our weekend even more perfect. If you are looking for a place to book while visiting Niagara on the lake, I can't recommend enough the Harrogate House Inn. You will not be disappointed. Mike and Diana Hamilton- Eden New York

A very homely perfectly located property to explore Niagara on the Lake. Owners were kind, friendly and gave a very warm welcome.

Appreciate its location, however, it was very expensive. An extra slice of toast for breakfast would have been greatly appreciated.

This is a wonderful small property located right in the centre of Niagara on the Lake. The hosts Kent and Elizabeth were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. The breakfasts were exceptional with the best pancakes we have ever had in a restaurant or inn. There is a nice sitting area and breakfast room which is available to relax and look out on the gardens and the activity on the street. The on-site parking is a great extra as you are able to safely park your car and walk to shopping, restaurants, and both theatres for the Shaw Festival. Located in an historic house so don’t expect a gym or pool it is not that style of accommodation but excels in what is has to offer. Quiet and relaxed. Definitely a must visit again property.

The room was impeccable and very high end with robes and slippers. The hosts were so warm and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent and a wonderful setting.
