Niseko Ski Lodge - Higashiyama

The staff were superb. Really friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable of the ski area and local area. Although the menu is a little limited, the quality of the food we had was excellent. The Lodge is very well situated for access to ski lifts, nearest chair was 10 minutes walk and only 3 or 4 minutes the the bus stops.

Given the lack of restaurants within walking distance maybe a slightly more varied menu could be an option

lovely tatami room, very comfortable and staff were great. 6 minutes by car to the slopes!

A little noisy in the room when the lodge woke up (mainly the staff cooking breakfast). Breakfast was nice but the same each day - variety would have been nice. Coffee very, very weak and no way of making your own coffee (except instant). The whole lodge was a little too warm for comfort, especially for sleeping. Not really enough shower facilities as they are in with the bath so are out of action if anyone is having a bath (bath takes 20 minutes to fill).

Nära backen, sevice-minded & trevlig personal, egen bar samt massagestol i källaren och parkering intill boendet. slutligen engelskspråkiga värdar.

Breakfast was great.
