Americas Best Value Inn Grayson

We had double queen beds .One bed the fitted sheet was questionable ,there was hair on it.The toilet was disgusting & wasn't properly cleaned.One of the washcloths was stained black.You get what you pay for.I usually don't do cheap hotels but everyone traveling with us was on a different budget.My daughter room had left over female garments.

There were a station on the sheets that appeared to be blood. There were under garments in the bathroom that may have been left by the last visitor which I had to place in the trash. Just eww.

My stay was pleasant, the bed was comfy and the room was decent. The front desk was where the magic was super friendly and I would recommend.

Needs a little updating

It's close to plenty of restaurants.

I reserved a king room with a spa... Was informed of the fact I was being put in a double queen bed. Got to my room to learn it also wasn't a spa room. Called the front desk and learned the spas are down

We booked two rooms as we traveled down the Interstate. When we arrived, the place did not look as pictured. It was very cluttered around the exterior with a dumpster of heaping garbage and old toilets behind the hotel (near the doors to our two rooms). Worse, one room smelled horrid (like dirty laundry - really filthy old laundry). The other room had visible hair in the beds and in the bathroom and the AC did not get the room to anywhere near comfortable in the short time we were there. The manager gave us a key for another room explaining that they had a new cleaning service start that day, but the 3rd room had not even been cleaned at all. The beds were still messed up, so we just closed the door and went back to the main desk. He then offered to refund our payment, which we immediately accepted and moved on down to the next town where we did find a comfortable and CLEAN set of rooms. This was on July 28, 2025. No refund has shown up on our debit card yet. The manager said it "might" take 24 hours, but it has been over a week. We have traveled extensively and rarely if ever give poor reviews. There was one bad one in South Bend, Indiana, and another in Iowa City. However, this hotel is worse than the worst one we have ever booked. We were so happy to get the offer of a refund and move on! But we haven't received the refund yet. This place should be avoided.

Nothing

Almost everything. First room issued had not been cleaned, bed linen had been used. Second room did not exist. Third room reeked of cigarette smoke had mold on the walls and the bed linens were soiled. Only positive note was the refunding of the room charge after we checked into another motel down the road.

Had to switch rooms before the first one the sheets were not cleaned, had dirt all in the sheets. 2nd room smelled like cat pee but the sheets were clean mold all in the showers. Would not recommend.

We booked this last minute as we were driving through the area at 11PM. The price was right for the limited time we would be there. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for though. The bed looked clean and was comfortable; however, the room smelled stale and the bathroom was not as clean as it should be.

At the time of this booking it had a rating of 7.2. Which was one of the higher ones at the time in this town. Once I got inside my room, the carpet felt like it was caked with something and sticky, and a hot water worked sporadically. I don't know how they got such a high rating but the motel is not worth the price. The carpet had garbage all throughout the area, as well....in the room.
