We have stayed here several times now on our way back to Bilbao ferry terminal. The staff are friendly and food is very good. I need to book again for later this year.

We loved the location of the hotel and the safe parking on the property. The owners were so friendly and the accommodation is like entering a medieval palace. All the original features have been beautifully restored and the addition of a spa bath to our room felt very luxurious. The restaurant was outstanding and despite the fact there were only 4 of us dining that night, a full menu was available. The waiter was so knowledgeable and friendly, he made us feel like family.

There was nothing we didn't like about this property. We will definitely visit again.

Le restaurant n’est pas accueillant. Le serveur a refusé de nous servir un apéritif à l’extérieur à l’ouverture du restaurant, 21h alors que nous étions seuls dans le restaurant. La nourriture de qualité médiocre n’est pas en rapport avec le prix sauf le vin du domaine qui était très bon. Les croquetas étaient amères comme si l’huile utilisée étaient rance. Mauvais choix des asperges à la caille.

This is a beautifully restored palace that is family run. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and made us feel right at home. The rooms are nicely appointed, breakfast was delicious with lots of selection, and the on-site restaurant was top-notch. We highly recommend a stay with Danny and his family.

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Very welcoming, helpful and thoughtful staff. Spacious clean rooms with lovely interior, comfortable layout and all the necessary amenities. Comfortable beds and great shower temperature/pressure included. Lovely lounge and common living room area, used for breakfast in the morning, and for chill in the evening. The breakfast was very good, included everything what is necessary: eggs, ham and cheese, coffee, tea, milk, yogurt, juice, cereals, fresh fruits, fresh bread and pastry. Restaurant is closed on Tuesdays, however, we were offered wonderful jamon&cheese plates and wine for dinner instead. Located in a quiet village on the Camino with lots of points of interest of the Rioja region to visit and enjoy in some minutes drives.

There is no kettle in the room. That was not a problem for me as staff readily provided hot water from the kitchen and showed how to get some hot water from the coffee machine in case there is no one in the kitchen.
