Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Daytona Beach - Ormond Beach

Very nice room

After speaking with a lady earlier on the phone I was told there would be 4 pillows on each bed , and there were only 3 provided. When I spoke about this at front desk and asked for more pillows for our room, the front desk girl Jacqueline told us she would be fired and get in trouble if she gave us more. SERIOUSLY, IN TROUBLE. The pillows on an airplane are bigger than what is provided in the room. She could have handled her customer service skills & the situation better within hospitality a little more professional and classy, w/o speaking ill of management that she would be fired and be in trouble. 2/3 more pillows in a hotel that was not even at all fully occupied. Bed is also harder than a rock!!!! Do better!! There were not enough towels for 4 ppl as well and was told the room had adequate amount. One small shampoo and one small bar soap for 4 ppl. We were treated like second class citizens without respect by the front desk. Do better. For the price for the type of property we definitely deserved a better stay. The service and hospitality industry as a whole has definitely seen better days!!

Mildew smell, ants, price gouging for 1 night.

I was not planning on staying in this area but unforseen circumstances dictated it. The room was decent and easy parking. There is a gas station on the way in to fill the car in the morning. The room was nothing spectacular but was impressed there was a kitchenette and full size fridge. The bed and my back did not agree but that may have been more my back (it was the only spot on my entire trip and 7 hotels that my back hurt the next morning though.)

Nothing that falls on the hotel.
