The Inn at Thunder Mountain

Perfect location and incredible breakfast.

We had a lovely experience at The Inn at Thunder mountain. Although it would be nice to have the option to cover the window in the shower of the Sacred Feather room as it was bright in the mornings in the room and had workers working on houses behind the property that could see right into the window so couldn’t shower at that time.

Room was spacious, clean. Ceiling lighting for the bedroom was oddly placed (most of the light was on one side) and bathroom lighting was inadequate. A/c heating was sufficient but vent placement (directly over one side of the king bed) seemed odd. Breakfast each morning was nice.

The good parts: fireplace next to the jacuzzi tub, comfortable bed, bread baking in the room when I arrived, a lovely breakfast each morning. The not-so-good parts: there was poop in the toilet when I arrived, there was a styrofoam take out container and coffee mug on the front porch when I arrived, the outdoor couch and awning on the way to my room were in disarray when I arrived (later they fixed it), and the lock for my room was a single deadbolt. I think it could be made to be more secure. Also, regarding the bathroom - the toilet and shower are separated from the rest of the room by only a curtain. I was staying by myself so this was not a problem for me, but if I were there with someone, I might not have liked that at all. Zero bathroom privacy.

Hot Tub was in a private balcony.

A bright light was coming from the shower area, and there was no way to cover up.

Great place with amazing staff, very helpful Room we had, moonlight shadow was awesome, Great breakfast Nothing to complain about, we first booked for two nights and ended up booking for the rest of our week

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Ghost Rider suite! Attention to detail and thoughtfulness for our comfort was clear in every aspect of our stay. From freshly baked bread awaiting us to convenient toiletries, snacks, and plentiful robes and towels for the hot tub (immaculately clean), we had a lovely time. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfasts, delivered to our room by the wonderful chef, were truly outstanding and a great way to start the day taking in all of the area's activities. I would highly recommend this secluded, yet conveniently located gem.

All the complementary amenities included with the room with great attention to detail. The owner starts the day off with a breakfast that is cooked by a chef and not the typical continental breakfast. The Jacuzzi was already warmed and ready for us after check in. This was especially welcoming after a long drive to our destination we could sit in the tub.

I'm knit picking but not a fan of the Keurig Coffee maker. The plastic waste of the pods, the water down flavor of coffee, and it didn't work, likely due to needing descaled. I would suggest investing in a French Press or cheap coffee maker with reusable filter.
