We wish the windows of the dome were clean, they were quite dirty so it impacted our view.

"Superb"

I stayed here for two nights with my husband and three adult sons. This is an amazing location with views across the caldera to Mount Abang. The VIP tent is very comfortable, a bit hot in the full heat of the day, but there is a fan which helps a lot and it cools down in the evening so it's pleasant to sleep in. Mupu looked after us exceptionally well, making us tea and coffee whenever we wanted and arranging a driver for us as it's a bit out of the way. He was so generous and accommodating and even lent his scooters to another couple to use free of charge! He was our guide for the trek up Mount Batur and I was so glad to have him as I struggled a bit with dizziness on the climb and he was really patient, taking me to the front of the group so I could set the pace and holding my hand on the trickier bits - but he was also very aware of the time and made sure we got to the top in time for sunrise and with a great spot to sit down and watch. This place comes highly recommended, not least because of the efforts of Mupu!

It was a bit out of the way, although that comes with the lakeside location. Also, the tents do get hot in the middle of the day. It's definitely worth paying a bit extra for the VIP tents if available.

I feel bad giving a bad review for this property since the staff were so nice but it was a pretty miserable experience for us. The bathroom had a ton of bugs and the shower doors didn’t close. Paint was falling off the walls and the bed sheets were super moist when we moved in (a staff member told us that was normal). The room didn’t smell great, either. Also, it was impossible to eat at the outdoor restaurant because there were flies everywhere constantly.

"Nice and comfy villa"

The room was very good..a comfy place and queit one The only thing that they have to improve is the wifi It's running slow when the villa full booked and everyone using wifi
