Forest Apartment by Olala Homes

The view is absolutely superb, making you feel like you're in the middle of a forest while still being close to the city center. The apartment is comfortable, spacious and very well-equiped. Nothing to complain about.

The apartment is spacious and we had everything we needed and more in it. There were pots and pans and plates and bowls, cutlery, glasses, so on and so forth. There was a hair dryer, clothes iron, coffee machine, extra bed sheets and duvets, plenty of toiletries and towels, overall it really felt like a little home. The area is quiet, close to multiple key points in Sinaia and we even watched some squirrels play in the trees from our balcony. The vibes were immaculate.

The AC was not working. Considering it was the main filtering criteria when we looked for accommodation, that was dissapointing. We let the staff know about this and we were told it would be fixed during our stay, that didn't end up happening. It was clear that the apartment was cleaned before our stay but it was also clear that some of the things in it didn't really pass the test of time, or maybe they were mishandled too much by previous guests. The armchair in the living room had some icky stains that told a lot of stories and the bathroom was not so shiny. Do the pros outweigh the cons? Perhaps. Considering the decent price, we'd still book it (if the AC worked that is).

I liked the location, it feels like you are in the forest. It’s silent, away from the city center which is extremely crowded…

They don’t have a place to keep your luggage after check-out. There were no paper towels in the kitchen, this is something basic that should be provided.

The baby chair was a plus The apartment is big

When we arrived the whole apartment was smelling like cigarette smoke . This is incredible, it never happened to me. The smell was very intense, in all rooms, in the towels, in the bed sheets. We have two children, one of which is a baby and we had to sleep in that auwful smell. When I signalised the problem I received the answer that they are sorry for the situation, and in the third day of our stay they suggested that the staff could do " an extra cleaning". There was only one match for lighting the stove. Instead of kitchen paper towels we found toilet paper.

The door takes time to lock itself. The air condition is only on hitting mode and doesn’t cool
