Anaga Experience: mountain and beach retreat

La cuesta para llegar al alojamiento (pero el entorno lo merece) y los mosquitos (a pesar de que entorno la casa hay un perenquén, es imprescindible llevar repelente de mosquitos).

A place with a great view of the village and the ocean. A nice little house with everything you need if you want to relax away from the tourist hustle and bustle of Tenerife, while being close to the beaches, cliffs, and forests in the hills of Anaga.

Take enough food with you and watch out for the last steep road to the accommodation. For experienced drivers only.

During my 3 week vacation where we've had tried many apartments, this one I liked the best. It's not a flat, it's a fascinating small house, with very good panorama to Taganana village. If You go/hike outside, there are also fantastic routes with exceptional views. 10-20 min driving and You can reach several picturesque black sand beaches. Price performance exceeded my expectations.

Reaching the property is a bit tricky, sometimes the GPS might lead to wrong location. Then it's worth to try again on different device.

Overpriced for what it offers. The place is small and very basic. Location is nice as close to walking paths and not far from the see. However to get to the house you must drive a very steep and narrow road upwards that is rather scarry, so we took it only once to arrive and once to depart. Seemed too cumbersome to use it on a daily basis. Beds are far from comfortable. The double bed is double only by name and two adults hardly can sleep...

The location is special, mountainous - very different to the seaside resorts or towns, where we stayed on Tenerife prior to Anaga. It is an ideal base for trips to the mountains although the beaches are only a short drive away too. The accommodation was simple, which seems typical for these traditional dwellings, clean yet comfortable with all necessities. The kitchen had a supply of tea, coffee, spices, oil and was well equipped.

The terrain where the property is located is difficult to navigate and we were struggling to find it in a car. So a precise description + exact GPS co-ordinates of the gate to the property would be appreciated. The bedding felt too warm for the climate - something less synthetic would be more comfortable.
