Hilton Garden Inn Southern Pines Pinehurst, Nc

The hotel is located in Aberdeen area, surrounded by many restaurants and shopping centers within a few minute drive. Plenty of free parking outside the hotel, and a nice small outside pool. The building is a long 4-story building with rooms on both sides. There are 2 elevators in the middle and guests can enter also from the sides of the building. Breakfast is served downstairs - a typical American breakfast that repeats itself every morning. Even though it said breakfast was included, they still asked for a "tip" every morning, even when just using the buffet (from which the juices and coffee disappeared in order to be "served"). They also asked for $1 for the water bottles in the room, unless you're a Hilton member. I must say the reception's service was great. The room was big and the bed was very comfortable. Lots of storage area. There was a small (quiet) fridge and a microwave. We turned off the air conditioner during the night, so I can't tell much about it. It took ages (literally several minutes) for the water in the shower to heat up. Altogether, a good choice for staying in the area, with a few things to improve.

The only complaints are the third floor has poor water pressure and the fourth floor above use had a very loud and heavy person stomping are around at 3am.

Everything was as expected except that we are used to breakfast being included because we usually stay at a Hampton Inn or La Quinta. That would have made our experience better.

I love this hotel. The staff is always so very friendly, and the hotel is clean and inviting.
