Curt di Clement Eco Mobility Hotel

This is a lovely modern facility with beautiful rooms set inside a gorgeously refurbished warren on medieval stone buildings.

I had very low expectations as I am traveling on a budget this trip. I was pleasantly surprised at how lovely, modern yet rustic, clean and practical this stay was. I had just had a long trip and was dying to sleep and shower. I expected a motel 6 vibe and got a very nice, rustic b and b feeling with a much appreciated modern elevator, large comfortable shower and clean space to relax. My only disappointment is that I did not have longer to stay! Also, if you’re working abroad- their internet was great!!

Our first night in Italy after traveling from Switzerland on the fantastic Bernina Express train. The hotel is tucked into a rustic area within walking distance from the train station, but the cobblestone streets make wheeed luggage a bit challenging. The hotel is in an ancient building that has been modernized and updated, making it decieveingly comfortable with a unique feel of antiquity with all modern amenities. It appears to cater to the cycling set with a dedicated bike room, but that seems to be a bonus overall.

A beautiful building that has been sympathetically updated. The beds are very hard which is fine if that’s what you like. The view from our room was rather unpleasant looking into what looked like derelict buildings that were actually lived in. Although there are nice parts of Tirano it is quite run down which is probably not helped by the tour companies picking up tourists at the end of the Bernina train line and ferrying them away to other cities instead of them injecting much needed cash into the area

Great location, historic building. However, breakfast was sad. No more pastries with an hour of breakfast service left. I didn’t see anything being restocked. Beds were hard, and so were pillows. Room was dusty. Bathroom door would not close. We asked for an hour later check out and were told it would be 50 euros!!!

What a hidden gem- and kudos to the architect who created a simple, clean, modern boutique hotel in this ancient building. So much charm- and such a walkable town with breathtaking views.

Beautiful hotel, great restaurant close by, friendly and helpful staff, quiet. Interesting town walk. Walked by the river to a nature reserve. Perfect.
