Hotel Seaside

Close to the spiez train station. Can reach by a bus. A modern and spacious hotel in a quiet neighbourhood area. The single room is the most spacious I have seen in my this Europe trip. Lots of shelving space to unpack the luggage. Have some hot breakfast too. Can see the lake. More cost effective than staying in interlaken

Huone oli melko tilava. Patio oli kiva ja näkymä järvelle. Huone oli hiljainen. Aamiainen oli hyvä ja runsas. Pysäköintihalli hotellin vieressä.

Iso betonimöhkäle koko rakennus. Taas booking. comin kautta tilattu huone pohjakerroksesta. Saavuimme vasta klo 18 aikaan ja respa ei kertonut, että ravintola menee kiinni jo 20.00. Onneksi pystyimme illallistamaan viereisessä hotellissa. Hotelli lähetti sähköpostiini noin kolme sivua ohjeita, mitä huoneessa ei saa tehdä. Esimerkiksi miten vessassa istutaan, miten pyyhkeitä tulee käyttää jne. En ole koskaan kokenut mitään vastaavaa, vaikka olen matkustanut paljon ympäri maailmaa.

We only had one breakfast as had to leave early the second day but that was very good. Wide selection of food. It is a very modern set up so if you like old buildings with character not for you. It is a bit up hill from the lake. Staff were friendly and all speak excellent English which puts my schoolgirl German to shame
