The worst place ever

overall it was a very interesting place I paid for 3 days but I only stayed one!do to the fact of the dogs just freely walking around the place and I think if a person is renting his home out then it shouldn't be dogs just walking around Pitbull Bulldogs just barking and walking and agitated so it wasn't a very good place.the owner was pretty nice guy that's all I got to say

The host was absolutely horrible. He screamed at the top of his voice when I arrived simply because I couldn’t findMy room. I was threatened and had two pitbull’s released on me which forced me out of the house. This person should not be allowed to host anything anywhere

Ok, so DreamCatcher is a literal museum, a botanist's dream and a bed & breakfast all wrapped into one. If you're a 'creative' or you're into the arts... or you simply like ecclectic ambiances, this is the place for you. Talk about the most self centered selfish hotel owner you can find, and this hits top of the list. Our flight got canceled and we had a non refundable booking. During COVID, most owners are decent. This guy, not so much. Orbitz finally got hold of him after three weeks and he said he doesn’t do refunds. I called him to ask and as soon as I said who I was he hung up on me. When I finally got through after multiple call attempts, he said he would rather us bring Covid to the hotel than refund us. He acted rudely and semi aggressively to the point where even if we found alternate travel plans, I was scared for my life if we ever got there. Over the next few weeks I tried to get some reasoning from him, but got no response, even though we were paying customers! He gave us two disconnected numbers and refused to talk to us. On the second supposed night of our stay, he emailed me back and said he would not take my calls or emails and would only talk to my attorney. We were supposed to be there and he was not allowing us to stay there or even talk to us. He still refused to refund us. So to put it in short, if you want to stay at a hotel with an aggressive owner that thinks Covid is a joke, this is the place for you. If you want to be safe, stay away. It’s sad really. We were recommended to this place from one of his associates at Hibiscus which is a place he used to be a chef at. If he’s willing to let down someone who held a high rating for him, what does that say about him?

I am really pleased that I am able to leave a review of this property. I had 32 hotel bookings made for around the USA which was meant to be a dream road trip for myself and my son. We had everything planned to come from the U.K. however Covid sadly put a stop to that. We had made all our bookings under the non refundable rate because to be quite frank only death would of stopped us, until Covid appeared it’s head. This meant our road trip had to be cancelled because we were absolutely unable to fly out of the U.K. we were devastated and contacted hotels.com who were beyond helpful and contacted each and every hotel we had booked, everyone except this place refunded us. Now fair enough, ok fine. But the most worrying thing about this hotel was not being able to contact them, we tried and tried and tried but to no avail. Until eventually Michael advised Hotels.com that he would not be refunding me. After all the effort to actually speak to someone from the hotel, it was a negative one. My main point to this post is, read the reviews and do not give the benefit of the doubt, make sure you’re happy that if you do book, you will struggle to be able to converse with Michael as he doesn’t answer his phone or reply to emails. I did read the reviews but gave this hotel the benefit of the doubt, something I will never do again. Be extremely weary and make sure you book refundable.

I enjoyed my Stay at Dream Catcher and will return again... although I didn't taste the food it smelled amazing and the service was great. My first bnb experience was cool and fun

while the owner was hospitable enough, if a little cold and asocial, this simply isnt a "hotel". its a literal airbnb listing that somehow found its way onto this site. there are pitbulls running around the property, which i dont mind at all, they were very friendly, but for someone who is afraid of large dogs it would be a very discomforting surprise upon checkin. i stayed in my room the whole time i was there when i wasnt out. but overall, if youre looking for a hotel experience, this isnt for you.
