Great location near town, trails and activities. Very comfortable, clean and charming. Mary and Tim were welcoming and kind hosts ready to help with anything including reservations at the wonderful Hare and Copper restaurant!

Everything. The quality was outstanding in every respect. Very attractive and comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, very friendly and helpful hosts. I recommend taking a walk alongside the nearby river to a lookout point. Having stayed in many B&Bs, this is first time I'm giving 10/10.

I would like to write something here, jst to avoid giving the impression that I was paid to give a positive review - but there was simply nothing that was not excellent.

Good location in town. Very quaint setting with lovely gardens. Comfortable room with private bath. Mary offered wonderful recommendations for activities and dinner options. She and Tim prepared one of the most delicious breakfasts we have ever experienced at a B&B. They were even kind enough to share one of their recipes with us.

We spent one night at Olive Rabbit and wished we could have stayed longer. Mary & Tim are so welcoming and friendly. When we arrived after a long hike up in Tongariro National Park they kindly arranged the jacuzzi for us and helped us get a dinner reservation, making us feel just at home. The rooms are nice and big plus the breakfast was one of the best we had during our trip to NZ! We cannot recommend this place enough and we can’t wait to go back!

Mary and Tim went above and beyond to provide a great experience for us, from the incredible food (including a winning packed breakfast to take on our hike!) to responsive communication and very clean rooms. We were only there for a couple nights, but I would go back in a heartbeat.
