’ve stayed at a lot of Quest properties across Australia and generally rate them highly – this one was the complete opposite. The place itself is fairly new and presents well, but that’s where it ends. The whole experience felt like management operates on the assumption that every guest is doing the wrong thing. I travel with a high-value bike (over $10k) and an electric scooter. Nowhere in the booking process was there any mention that these wouldn’t be allowed on the property. I arrived and was basically told “not our problem” – no solutions, no alternatives, just pushed aside. After already paying a premium rate for the room, I was then told I’d need to pay an additional $25 per night for parking just to have the bike somewhat secure. Even then, it’s an open-air carpark, so “secure” is a stretch – especially at that price. The scooter situation was worse. No charging allowed, no flexibility, no attempt to assist. Just a flat no. I was left with no option but to leave both items in my car for three days – including a $10k bike sitting exposed in a paid carpark. To top it off, staff entered my room to check I wasn’t charging the scooter. No conversation, no trust – just straight in. Completely unacceptable. Overall, the attitude was rude, unhelpful, and frankly untrustworthy – all while charging premium rates. Avoid this property. Quest as a brand is generally excellent, but this location is a major outlier.
